Some card weaving patterns can be adapted for weaving on multi-shaft looms and loom patterns can be adapted to card weaving. Many of the patterns on this page have been inspired by 8- and 10-shaft twills. Using two colors, light and dark, all cards for the patterns on this page have been threaded with a light color in hole 1 and 3, a darker color in 2 and 4.
Some drafts generate the same pattern on both sides, other generate a very different pattern.
